15-year-old injured in Glasgow gang attack

POLICE in Glasgow are continuing inquiries after an assault on a schoolboy in Kingspark, Glasgow.

The 15-year-old victim was with several friends in Castlemilk Drive, near Kingsbridge Drive, when they were attacked by four youths The teenager was treated for his injuries at the Victoria Hospital, where he was kept overnight.

Yesterday Detective Sergeant Graham Strickland at Cathcart CID said: "This would appear to be a totally unprovoked attack which has resulted in a teenager sustaining serious but thankfully not life-threatening injuries. I'd like to speak to anyone who has any information that could assist us in finding the youths responsible for this assault."
