Call by this police box

AN artwork based on a former police telephone box is among the unusual exhibits forming part of a show at the Edinburgh College of Art.

American artist Tom Mason's to-scale replica of a police box, entitled Lilliputian Museum Matrix, is divided into two halves inside, with wooden and metal type settings in each.

The piece is part of the college's 2010 Postgraduate Degree Show, which features works from 47 UK and international students graduating from the institution.

The free showcase runs from Saturday to August 29.
