Partick Thistle mascot Kingsley turned up at Bellahouston Park yesterday and along with 1,500 primary schoolchildren from across Glasgow and East Renfrewshire to turn the park into a sea of yellow in support of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.

The kids, from more than 20 schools, walked a sponsored 5k before watching Kingsley race against the hospice’s mascot, Harvey, Rangers mascot Broxi and Sparky the Scottish Power mascot.
