Mafia boss, 93, gets eight years

A NEW York judge has given an eight-year prison sentence to reputed Mafia boss John "Sonny" Franzese, who at 93, is so old he dozed through his recent extortion trial.

The government had asked the federal judge to sentence him to at least 12 years for racketeering conspiracy.
