MSP gets key role to study end of life Bill
Lothians MSP Dr Ian McKee will become deputy convener of the end of life choices Ccommittee at the Scottish Parliament.
He said: "It's an honour to have been elected depute convener of the committee, but it will be no easy task given the extreme controversy surrounding the Bill.

Hide Ad"Every day I receive e-mails and letters from constituents for and against the Bill, and it's very difficult to represent constituents on a matter where public opinion is so evenly divided.
"I will need to be convinced all necessary safeguards are in place before I formally support the Bill during any vote in parliament."
